December Ipsy

Wow, I can’t believe December is already here and Christmas is in 7 days… 7 DAYS! Winter is coming in 3 days… this is my favorite time of the year.

Maybe I should quit blabbering and get on with this post. So this month I have to say my Ipsy bag was so-so for me. I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it. The bag itself I think is adorable but the contents… eh.

The first thing I received was The Coffee Scrub in the scent Coconut. I’ve never really used a scrub so maybe I’ll give this one a try.

I’m kind of happy that I received the MAC Extreme Dimension Lash, MAC is a brand that is so talked up in the beauty community and I haven’t really tried much besides their lipstick and setting spray.

I received the Meech and Mia white pigment and I’m so so on this because I don’t usually wear pigments and if I do I tend to go for glittery colors.

The trestique brow pencil I received I wasn’t super excited about, I don’t usually use many brow pencils so it will probably get passed on to a friend.

Lastly I received a shader brush from Luxie beauty. I love luxie brushes they are so soft and hardy brushes.

Well that’s all that I got in my Ipsy bag this month. It wasn’t the best this month but it had a few good things so I won’t complain.

What did you get in your bag this month?

Must Have Festival Beauty Products

Good evening loves! Spring is upon us therefore… FESTIVAL SEASON IS COMING! I have put together a little list of must-have’s for Coachella, hope this helps some of you when preparing to go to Coachella!

Starting off with face products, I have chosen the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. This foundation is a matte foundation and it is very long wearing. It’s perfect for the days you want your makeup to stay perfect day and night.

With any foundation you need a setting powder, the Kat Von D lock it setting powder. This powder helps keep your makeup in place while setting any tackiness your foundation may leave behind. This is a matte setting powder and it leaves no white cast (for those selfie takers that were wondering).

For the eyes I have first picked the Naked Smokey pallet, this pallet is so beautiful for any kind of eye look. You could go more natural or more sultry and Smokey with your eye look.

For eyeliner I have two options, drugstore and high end. The first is NYX vivid brights eyeliner. I love the vivid brights not only because the cost but the colors they leave behond, so bold yet not over the top. Next is Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner, these are so beautiful if you are willing to go out and spend a little more. The glitter is just drop dead gorgeous.

For mascara I have picked the Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara. I love this mascara. I can’t say that enough. This mascara makes your lashes stand out and look beautiful. At any festival/Coachella a waterproof mascara will be super important because with all the dancing you will be doing… sweat comes along.

Lastly for lips, Colourpop makes perfect lippies for any persons style at only $5-$6! They make lip gloss, satin lips, matte, metallic, etc. The matte lippies last ALL day! Honestly I don’t buy many lip products unless they are from Colourpop!

Overall, these are my must-have festival/Coachella beauty products! I hope you all enjoyed this post and maybe it helped some of you!

Collective haul

Hey lovelies! I have placed a couple Sephora orders and an Ulta order in the last month and so I’m here to share a collective haul with you!

In my first order at Sephora I bought the Craig and Carl limited edition felt tip eyeliner set. This comes with 5 eyeliners. I liked this set because of the variety it provided. I also bought the Sephora collection Wishes Come True pallet and the Becca Opal Glow in the Go. The pallet was on sale for a great price and I couldn’t pass it up. I don’t own many Becca things, I have the Jaclyn Hill pallet and I love the highlighters and so I wanted to try Opal.

In my second order at Sephora I bought Tarte’s Energy Noir clay pallet, I have been eyeing this for a long time. I don’t know what it is about this pallet that fascinates me but I am drawn to this pallet. The only other Tarte pallet I own is the Tartelette in Bloom.

At Ulta I bought the Moondust pallet along with an eyebrow pencil and a sharpener (I needed a few more bucks for free shipping). I saw the Moondust pallet a few days before it came out and then the day it came out my fiancé was nice enough to purchase it for me along with the other two orders. Ulta was also offering 5x points on all Urban Decay! The Moondust pallet is so beautiful. I can’t wait to play around with it.

Well that’s everything I hauled in the past few weeks! I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading!

Colourpop mini haul

Hey lovelies! Happy Tuesday, I was going to share my little Colourpop haul with you today!
I picked these up a couple weeks ago but they got here last week and I have just been sick and not able to blog. The shipping took a little longer but that’s understandable considering they had so much going on with Birthday Boy releasing and such.

I picked up four lippie stix in the colors LBB, Brink, Grunge and Aquarius. I was kind of on a nude/dark phase this order because I noticed I had no darker lippies! All of them are matte except for Aquarius which is a Creme lippie.

I bought 3 liquid lipsticks in the colors Magic Wand, Dopey, and Chilly Chili. Magic Wand and Dopey are both Ultra Satin and Chilly Chili is a Ultra Matte. I’m in love with their liquid lippies.

I bought my first full sized blush, I’m in love with this color. It’s called Cruel Intentions. It’s a gorgeous pink rose color. I love the formula of these and it’s not comparable to ANYTHING else, except maybe butter😋

Also, I got birthday boy for free! This color is amazing! Let alone limited edition! The gold and the glitter… agh! They couldn’t have done better.

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed this post.

Morphe haul

Hi lovelies, I received my first Morphe order on Saturday and I’m so pleased with what I got. I ordered 12 shadow pots, 3 makeup brushes and a pallet.
I’m so impressed by the shadow pots and the pigmentation of the shadows. I used one today for the first time as a transition shade in the color “hanky panky” and it was amazing. It was so smooth and worked great as the transition. The pots only cost $2.29. The shadows I bought were:Life in the city

Pretty in pink

Pink moscato

Glow for me

Grape Day

Hanky Panky

Infinity and beyond

Creme brule

They’re all in a Morphe pallet that is magnetic and holds 12 shadows. It costed $6.99 for the pallet itself, I just removed each shadow and placed it inside the pallet gently.

I also bought 3 brushes because Morphe was having a sale and I got the E23 deluxe blender, E38 bent liner, and E17 crease precision. The shadow brushes work amazing. They blend amazing and are so soft. I was very impressed by the quality of the brushes.

Overall I’m so happy with my Morphe order and I can’t wait to use all my products!

Too Faced Chocolate Bar pallet

So I’m a little late than most on buying the Too Faced Chocolate bar pallet. I love the thing! It has excellent pigmentation and THE SMELL. THE. SMELL.

I am so excited to use this pallet, I feel like unlike most, this could be an everyday pallet. I love every one of the colors… not a single bad color. Another plus is there’s many transition shades.

I love how I could use this pallet and Colourpop shadows because this is awesome for transitioning into other colors. I have been building my Colourpop shadow collection and these are perfect together.

I have never bought a Too Faced pallet. This is my first purchase from them. I do not regret one bit of it. I’m so happy I spent the money on this pallet itself. I had heard so many amazing reviews on it so I had to have it. The variety of colors are amazing and they are still so perfect.

I 100% recommend this pallet to anyone on the fence about it. It’s perfect for any beauty lover or even MUA.

Costal Scents sale

Ulta Haul

So I was at Ulta to get my hair cut and I had Ulta platinum points and a $10 off coupon and I really needed something for under eye circles and a concealer so I went on the hunt.

-I bought the NYX concealer in the color porcelain and honestly I’m not too fond of it. It makes my face feel oily. I even use face powder to set it and it still feels oily on my face. It’s kind of a bummer considering I had high hopes for this one.

-Next I bought Essence Say NO to dark circles. I’m actually loving this product. My dark circles are really less noticeable with this product.

-I bought a bronzer because mine was slightly too dark and on the orange side. So I picked up Essence Sun Club bronzer for lighter skin. I’m LOVING this bronzer. It’s the perfect color. I actually really love the smell too, it smells like the beach.

-I got two eyeshadow pallets because there was a free Ulta Hello Beautiful pallet with eye shadows and bronzer/highlighter/blush when you spend $16.50, I bought the Metals pallet and I love the colors in the pallet. These are both really great pallets. I’m so glad I picked them up.
